My name is Jamie, affectionately known as Mimi. I am a wife and mother to 4 children. I began my journey as a baker just trying to get my kids to eat vegetables. I continued to bake and found pleasure in the smiles I provided to my kids.

 

The next thing I knew I was baking for friends and family. I kept hearing that my desserts were bakery worthy but didn't put any thought into it. I just loved to bake and share my creations with those around me.

I found myself delving into the science of baking, taking courses online, and investing tons of money in the latest baking gadgets. I had found a dormant passion to create edible art that I loved sharing with friends and family.

​

 

After lots of urging and persistence from my husband and friends I decided to take the leap and offer my desserts to extended family; also known as customers. I researched the business side of things while I perfected my initial offerings. Once completed I officially opened Mimi Sweet Company LLC in December of 2019.

​

 

Every item I offer is handcrafted with the same love that I began with, as I consider all of my customers family. I want to share with others, what some may consider a lost art. That same experience of love and deeply rich flavors your Grandmother, Aunt, or even your Mom made for you as a kid.
