  • Why are bakery prices so high?
    We take all the details, design elements, ingredients, time, and labor into account when creating one of kind treats that you'll love. Each item is made fresh to order and hand crafted just for you, so it's the perfect addition to your celebration. That includes the time it takes to order/shop for ingredients, mix, fill, frost and decorate your desserts. All of our treats are handcrafted using high quality ingredients such as 100% pure Madagascar vanilla bean extract/paste, Belgium chocolate, organic cocoa powder, just to mention a few. We don't want to provide you with the same flavors you can purchase at the store; nor leave you disappointed in the flavors (like when tasting mass produced cakes). We provide you with the best quality ingredients to enhance the flavors and give you a sweet memorable experience . To do that we make or order the best, and those ingredients cost more.   • Do you ship your cakes?
    Sadly, no. We are a home based business and we cannot ship any cakes.
  • Do cake toppers come with the cake?
    Cake toppers are ordered seperately. If you would like to personalize your cake or cupcakes please reach out and we can discuss your options.
  • Where are you located? What areas do you service?
    Our bakery is located in the North Fontana area. We service the Inland Empire as well as the LA area upon request.
  • Do you offer decorated sugar cookies?
    Yes! We do offer sugar cookies.
  • How do I place an order?
    There are 2 ways to do this: - Order through this site, click on the order tab. Fill out the order form. Please include as many details as possible, then press submit. We will create an estimate based on your email entry and send it to you within 2-4 business days. Monday-Wednesday are the main days we respond to inquires. Once you click accept on the estimate, it will convert into an invoice. Once the non-refundable deposit/payment and sale of goods contract are both received your order is confirmed. - Call and leave a voicemail detailing your orders and questions at 909.401.7100
  • How far in advance do I need to place an order?
    It is recommended to place your order with at least 3 weeks' notice, but we work on first come first serve basis. However if you are placing an order for a wedding cake or a custom cake please contact us 6 to 8 weeks prior to your event date. We want to ensure we have enough time to order / create any of your customizations for your order.
  • Do you deliver or do I pickup?
    Pickup is always available, however if you prefer delivery there is a charge associated based on your event's location.
  • Do you offer gluten free or vegan options?
    Unfortunately at this time we don't offer vegan or gluten free options
  • Can I have a nut free cake?
    Absolutely, all desserts can be ordered without nuts. We must disclose that all the same mixing bowls, pans, and utensils are used for all cakes and products, therefore we cannot guarantee 100% free from nuts and all other allergens.
  • How do I place an order for a Wedding cake?
    There are two ways to place an order for a wedding cake. 1.Click the order tab at the top of the page to place an order. Please include as many details as possible. An estimate will be emailed for you to approve. Please allow 3-4 business days for the estimate. If any additional information is needed an email will be sent with details. 2. You can also order a wedding cake tasting consultation where we will get to know you and your spouse in order to understand how to best serve you. Inquire about our cake tasting Consultations by clicking on the order tab and filling out the order form today!
  • Do you offer Specialty Cakes?
    Yes! We offer specialty and custom cakes. Please place your orders at least 2-3 weeks prior to your event date. Orders are on a first come first served basis. However, more time may be needed to accommodate the customizations. Please send inquires to Jamie@mimisweetcomapny.com
  • Do you make Novelty Cakes?
    Unfortunately, at this time we do not offer fondant covered or sculpted cakes. We primarily specialize in buttercream cakes ( I do make/purchase fondant toppers/decorations such as unicorns, and other small fondant details. If you have a specific theme we can definitely consult on how we can still achieve the look you desire.
  • Do I need to keep the cake in the fridge?
    It's always best to refrigerate a cake until 1-2 hours prior to serving. This way you make sure the cake is at room temperature, because no one likes hard buttercream! Please note an outdoor venue and or heat in your home will affect the cake so take precaution and use your best judgement.
  • Whats the best way to transport the cake?
    Your cake comes prepared for travel, so place the cake box on the floor of your vehicle or the flattest surface available, to minimize movement. Cakes travel well but be careful to avoid unneccessary erratic movements while driving. Drive with caution as cakes can shift with erratic movements. Also be sure to keep the air on with the floor vents open.
  • What happens if I damage my cake?
    We do our best to ensure customer satisfaction at pickup/delivery, however once your dessert has been provided to you we are unable to repair any issues that occur.
